MR. COVID-19

2020 – When you see this number, it appears so attractive, isn’t it? And yes, as we got ready to say goodbye to 2019 on the onset of New Year’s Eve, a burst of expectations came along for the new year. Unfortunately, slowly but surely, as the Covid pandemic arose in intensity, it started changing people’s lives, situations, and circumstances.

Mr. Covid is here to stay but I must say, it has taught people left, right and center how to live a life of adversity.

Something which I learnt the most and has been truly to my advantage is how to be a digital maniac to grow my baby, ‘The Mirror Effect’. I was totally clueless about how to shift my business online but the way and the speed which I picked up, is something for which I am extremely proud of myself. I learned new skills & grew them – surprising, coming from a person who could not even make presentations (that’s who I was and now I am totally in love with the process).

Taking few online courses grew my knowledge, and the CONSISTENCY & PASSION uplifted my work to the next level: my business started to take shape, people started to engage with me, my productivity grew, and of course many more lessons learned by me along the way.

Life can be uncertain to its core and this pandemic has totally taught us a life lesson which will go down in history, preparing us for such uncertainties in the future. The best lesson being that situations are here to come and go, but the way you handle it, is the key and that’s what we all need to learn.

What Did I Do?!!

I started to see PROBLEMS as not problems but SITUATIONS for which I needed to find SOLUTIONS; trust me half of the battle was won already.

If I need new results, my actions should be NEW. Often, we humans are stuck in our old belief systems, an emotional state which does not add to our advantage - it creates fear of downfall, fear of failure, fear of health…which in the process builds anxiety & stress...

Let me tell you, when your state of mind is of Fear and Anxiety, your results will be different from when your state of mind is courageous, bold, playful.

So, to change your results, you have to change your emotional state and to change your emotional state you need to change your behavior.

How to do that?

When your physiology or your physical state changes, suddenly the whole equation of your mental well-being also changes.

Try this magical physiological change to see the results in your behavior.

There is a vast difference in body language between that of depressed people and people who are positive. Do you ever see how depressed people talk, walk and hold themselves? There is a theory ‘WALK THE TALK’; The way you represent yourself is the way you see yourself, perceive yourself and is the same way others see you and perceive you and react to you. So, if you have to change your results you need to change your behavior and when you change your behavior automatically you get confidence, your emotional state changes to a more positive one and the results will be 100% more positive.
