Life loves to play games with us but what if we start to handle life with reverse psychology?
We all know that we are surrounded with both negativity and positivity BUT what we tend to dwell on the most is negativity.

So, I began to observe my thoughts, work on myself and learn how to handle the negativity. In the process I realized that negativity can be stressful, can bring anxiety, can make us egoistic, and often force us to lose our temper. I can keep going and believe me once we start to notice our thoughts, that is the time we realize how much hatred & negativity we are holding within us.
A client of mine had been working in a job for a long time and many times he wished he could do something of his own, it was always in his thoughts. A few months back he lost his job and started to feel miserable. He began to question everything, felt terrible, and found negativity in everything.
He thinks of himself to be good for nothing and that only bad happens to him.
When he reached this low point, I made him realize that he always wanted to work for himself as well. So was this not the perfect opportunity to do just that, and possibly become successful in the process.
We are humans so negative thoughts and feelings will pop up.
The following is a little trick that I’ve tried which works beautifully to overcome some negative vibrations around us:
For today, talk to yourselves, “whatever may come, I will stay positive. My actions, thoughts, and emotions will be reversed with some positive perception.”
I suggested this simple trick to him and told him to think about it whenever he feels low, negative, or miserable about his days. I told him that whenever those negative thoughts came into his mind, he should immediately replace them with positive ones and reinforce the fact that – “You are on a mission of great change where you see a beautiful life for yourself. And as you successfully finish your day, celebrate the small achievements and pat yourself.”
We all love to be appreciated, so what is better than self-appreciation and self-love. The first day will be a little tough but this is what we need to work on. Though negative thoughts might come, celebrate the fact that you were able to successfully convert them into positive ones, and kudos to that.
Remember if you were able to work on this approach for a day of turning negative thoughts into positive ones, then why not just do it for 2 more days. Do not forget to award yourself with a pat on the back with every small achievement and milestone you make on your journey.
In this way, the patterns keep moving from weeks to months and years, and finally, we and our brains get accustomed to only the good around us.
Always remember:
“WHAT CONSUMES YOUR MIND, CONTROLS YOUR LIFE.”
